Wishing you the very best with Ralph at stud. He has an exceptional pedigree and his comrades were also very good. However, Ralph was easily the best of the litter. He improved rapidly after we bought him and I remember landing a touch the week before the Champion Stakes and we entered him as a result. He went on to win the competition in the fastest time ever done for the Final up to that year. He went on to reach the Quarter-Finals of the Irish Derby but pulled a muscle and had to be withdrawn. He was also in the Finals of the Irish Laurels and was very unlucky in the Irish Masters at Waterford where there was trouble at the third bend and this cost him victory. He was an extremely genuine dog and if anyone wants to put fire into their breed then this is the dog.
