Brian has a wealth of knowledge, with almost 40 years experience
of working with and racing greyhounds. He has had an interest in
greyhounds from being a small boy, when his father had
greyhounds at home and raced them on the flapping tracks.
Brian followed in his fathers footsteps as a young married man,
keeping greyhounds at home and racing them at all the local
flapping tracks back in the 1960's, 70's and 80's.
He has held a professional trainers license for 15 years and for
the last 6 years has been contracted to Sheffield, prior to that
he had 9 years at Doncaster (Stainforth).
2006 proved to be a very successful year for Brian with Ice And
Lemon reaching the William Hill Greyhound Derby Semi-Finals and
Womble winning the Steel City Cup at Sheffield.
Brian is always willing to offer his advice, share his knowledge
and experience, with prospective first time or new owners.
All owners are encouraged to visit the kennels and have the
pleasure and enjoyment of walking their own greyhounds. |
