14th Dec 05 It's another finalist for Champion-in-waiting Mark Wallis as Fear Whitesox lands the first Semi-Final of the William Hill Northern Puppy Derby with a trap to line success in 27.17.
14th Dec 05 3 winners for Maxine Locke and 4 for Paul Young as the Wickford based pair and former work colleagues dominate Romford's evening card.
13th Dec 05 Droopys Stacey lands the Oaks at Wimbledon by a neck from the running-on Roxholme Girl. Brian Clemenson's St Leger heroine Greenacre Lin returns to Plough Lane to claim the williamhillarcade.com Stakes by 1 1/4 lengths from Caloona Striker. Get On Blackie and Snazzy Rover give Seamus Cahill a double on the SKY TV card.
13th Dec 05 3 winners for Martyn Wiley at Romford with Kerwex Supreme (A2), Muintir Geal (A2) and Bandicoot Ringo (A4) all winning for the Wickford based handler.
13th Dec 05 The Harry Holmes Memorial Trophy Semi-Finals, Sheffield. Disappointment for Carly Philpott as Ballymac Niloc can only manage 4th in the second semi and fails to progress. Mark Wallis's Go Commando also out of the competition after starting slowly in the 3rd semi and suffering trouble at the 1st. Farloe Zak through to the Final for local handler Barrie Draper.
13th Dec 05 There was better news for Mark Wallis at Hall Green as last year's winner, Ronnies Flight takes Heat 5 of the Robin Hood Midland St Leger. Showing his customary early pace he soon had the field stretched out and made all for a comfortable 5 lengths success from Laid Back Henry in 39.67 (quickest of the Heats).
13th Dec 05 Loughteen Laura, Buckshee Boy, Ronsginger and Who Can Tell all win to give Paul Garland a four-timer on Wimbledon's BAGS card.
12th Dec 05 Carrib Prince equal quickest with Ningbo Jack when recording 17.73 for David Pruhs in Heat 4 of a cracking renewal of The Stadium Bookmakers National Sprint at Nottingham. Fear No One qualifies for Mark Wallis, taking third in Heat 3, some 4 lengths off Ningbo Jack at the line after first bend trouble.
12th Dec 05 Jim Reynolds, soon to join the training ranks at Romford will be looking forward to his new job with relish after seeing no fewer than 4 of his runners pass the winning line in front during the Romford v Hove v Walthamstow night at the Essex track. Danbury Slim, Horseshoe Hero, Paradiso (Mercury Trophy Heat 2) and Black Mist Boy all successful. Paul Young sends out a five-timer on the same card.
12th Dec 05 Chrismas Festival under way at Monmore. The Ladbrokes Christmas Festival Heats sees wins for Sparta Magic, 28.50 (Seamus Cahill), Fabulous March, 28.35 (Martin Burt) and Emerging Force (Pat Rosney) who made all and went quickest in 28.19. The top 3 in the ante-post market, Westmead Olivia, Jazz Hurricane and Frankies Diamond are all out of the competition.
10th Dec 05 Star Of Dromin was the star of the show at Walthamstow when landing the Storetodoor London Marathon for Mark Wallis. She had to dig deep to finally get the better of the front-running Faking It for Jim Reynolds but eventually led at the run-in to win the £3,000 first prize by 2 1/4 lengths. This win takes Wallis further clear in the Championship race and with time running out, he will soon be crowned Champion Trainer in his first season as a license holder. Ronnies Flight, Sol Late Late (£1,000 London Derby), Speacial Deal, and Fear Miss Power were the other 4 winners on the card for Wallis.
10th Dec 05 Ballymac Droopys wins the opening Heat of the William Hill Northern Puppy Derby for Carly Philpott but leading fancy Fear Assasin crashes out for Mark Wallis.
09th Dec 05 Shock in the Essex Vase Final as Eye Onthe Ball lands the Category One at Romford for Paul Young at odds of 16/1. In what was a cracking Final with only 4 3/4 lengths separating the whole field at the winning line, the eventual winner was slowly away as Dabreen and Driving Up Rob fought it out at the head of affairs. But Paul Young's runner made relentless progress to lead on the run-in and win going away by 1 1/2 lengths. Paul Sallis's Driving Up Rob, the 2/1 favourite, ran his heart out to finish a gallant third, one and a half lengths and a head adrift on the winner.
09th Dec 05 Two winners from just three runners at Mildenhall for Peter Cooke. Friendly Star and Carless Friend both successful for the Lankenheath based handler.
07th Dec 05 Maxine Locke, who won the Star Racing Standard Stakes at Sittingbourne on Sunday with Ardera Cross (see below) continues the good run of form with a treble at Romford as Heroes Last Lass, Bonville Roy and Jomax Roofer all win.
06th Dec 05 William Hill Oaks Semi-Finals. Shock as Brian Clemenson's ante-post favourite Shelbourne Nina trails home last in the 3rd Semi. Paul Young's Pacey Macey runs a cracker at odds of 14/1 to take second in the same Semi, 1 1/4 behind Urban Classic. Full line up for Final as folllows, Urban Classic, Pacey Macey, Droopys Stacey, Roxholme Girl, Westmead Aoifa and Barefoot Jenny.
06th Dec 05 Banahoe Panther, Sophie Rose, Small Bites and Clonbrin Flair all successful as Mick Puzey lands a four-timer on Walthamstow's graded card.
05th Dec 05 Delight for Paul Sallis as Driving Up Rob remains undefeated in the competition and progresses to the Final of the £6,000 Category One Essex Vase. 'Rob' was not as convincing as in previous rounds but the ante-post favourite held on from the fast finishing Jo Beo by 3/4 length in the First Semi in 36.10. Paul Young will be represented in the Final after Eye Onthe Ball came home third in the second Semi.

04th Dec 05 Ardera Cross for Maxine Locke never sees another dog when making all to land the £500 Star Racing Standard Stakes Final by 1 3/4 lengths from Thorgil Peter at Sittingbourne.
04th Dec 05 Allglaze Spider, marked as 'waiting' when winning his Semi-Final of the Henlow Stondon St Leger holds on by the narrowest of margins in the Final to deny Rhonas Fancy and take the £3,000 first prize. 'Spider's' win gives a real boost to Mark Wallis as he extends his lead at the top of the Trainer's Championship in his first season as a license holder.

In Heat 4 Tinky Rolls for Jim Reynolds defeats the Mark Wallis trained favourite Sarah Loves by 1/2 length - both progress to the next round. Shelbourne Poopa out of the competition after finishing 5th in Heat 5 but kennelmate Shelbourne Nina through for Brian Clemenson despite suffering a shock defeat  to Macintosh Wonder after being bumped at the 1st. This was 'Nina's' first defeat in 7 starts but she is still a very warm order for outright honours.
