favourite Shelbourne Nina goes from strength to strength and
puts down a marker to the rest of the field when slamming
Centaur Spirit by 5 lengths, stopping the clock in 28.78
(hand-timed) in what was easily the fastest time of the night.
Brian Clemenson's
bitch never saw a another greyhound and her odds for outright
honours will now shorten further still. Clemenson was also on
the mark with Shelbourne Poopa who took Heat 8 in 29.26. |

won the St Leger at Wimbledon in tremendous fashion for a
delighted Brian
Clemenson who has had this race as his main target all year.
The daughter of Top Honcho rounded off a great night for the
Hove handler who recorded a treble on the card. Greenacre Lin
broke well and never saw another dog when making all for a 3 3/4
lengths success in an impressive 41.16secs. Shelbourne Nina and
the well named Champagne Moment were Clemenson's other two
winners. |

4) and both qualify by taking second. Ronnies Champion also
second for Mark Wallis
behind quickest of the night Fear Me who recorded 29.45. Go
Commando also through for Wallis after coming 3rd in Heat 6.
Baulked at the 1st, Go Commando came home some 10 3/4 lengths
adrift of recent Laurels winner Blonde Boss.
Martin Burt's
ultra-consistent Conspiracy Seb takes second in the same Heat
recording a respectable 30.10.
Ballymac Niloc,
out since July and winner of last year's William Hill Puppy
Classic makes a welcome return to action for
Carly Philpott.
'Niloc' duly lands Heat 3 in impressive fashion. Leading at
