30th Nov 05 Paul Young, still on a high after Betathan Pebbles took the Jumbo Marathon at Walthamstow sends out no fewer than 6 winners on Romford's midweek evening card. Gooner Be Great (7/2), Droopys Hotshot (7/4f), Eye Onthe Dream (4/1), Kats Boy (2/1f) sealed a four-timer before Any Time Now and Head Hunting went on to take the two A1 contests on the card for the Wickford based handler.
30th Nov 05 Coventry. Bourne Optimist takes the 280m Maiden Open to kick-off a treble on the card for David Pruhs. Hes The Bizz takes Heat 1 of the Coventry 680 Veteran Cup whilst Laser Trail completed the treble when landing the spoils in the Coventry 280 Maiden Puppy Div A.
29th Nov 05 William Hill Oaks news. Ante-post favourite Shelbourne Nina goes from strength to strength and puts down a marker to the rest of the field when slamming Centaur Spirit by 5 lengths, stopping the clock in  28.78 (hand-timed) in what was easily the fastest time of the night. Brian Clemenson's bitch never saw a another greyhound and her odds for outright honours will now shorten further still. Clemenson was also on the mark with Shelbourne Poopa who took Heat 8 in 29.26.
29th Nov 05 William Hill Oaks news. Pacey Macy (29.54) wins Heat 10 for Paul Young, whilst Sparta Magic looked good for Seamus Cahill when beating Brian Clemenson's Cinnamon Girl by a length in 28.95 (hand-timed). Title chasing Mark Wallis takes Heat 4 with Sarah Loves and Jim Reynolds sees Daisyfield Seani win Heat 3 in a quick 28.95.
29th Nov 05 Racing Post Festival North/South Challenge Puppy (£2,00 to the winner). Ballymac Droopys causes a shock when winning at 14/1 for Carly Philpott with hot favourite Special Deal finishing 3rd.
29th Nov 05 The Racing Post Veterans Derby Final (£2,000 to the winner). Carly Philpott strikes again, this time with warm favourite (11/8) Ballymac Kewell who had the race safely in the bag before half-way and stretched out for a comfortable 3 1/4 lengths success from Legal Knight.
29th Nov 05 The Racingpost.co.uk Festival Maidens Derby (£2,000 to the winner). David Pruhs's Judicial Law makes all to deny Black Forfeit by a length and a half in 28.89. Only Zigzag Dutchy went quicker on the night.
29th Nov 05 The Moscow Flyer Book Hurdle Final (£2,000 to the winner). This contest looked a formality for Lethal Rumble after the withdrawal yesterday of Druids Mickey Jo and so it proved as the Mark Wallis inmate sealed a seven-timer by leading early and coming home 2 1/2 clear of Heavens Supreme despite hitting the 3rd hurdle.
29th Nov 05 The VC Bet Marathon Final (£4,000 to the winner). Multiple track record holder Star Of Dromin was sent off the  4/9 favourite for Mark Wallis and was simply awesome when coming home 7 lengths clear of Soviet Isis.
29th Nov 05 VC Bet Invitation Race (£4,000 to the winner). No stopping Mark Wallis as Sol Late Late causes a massive shock when landing the spoils at 14/1. Siesta Frisby and Rathanny Fitz, 11/8f and 13/8 respectively both started poorly and lost all chance.
29th Nov 05 The Racing Post Festival Jumbo Marathon (£1,000 to the winner). Paul Young will no doubt have one eye on the TV Trophy early next year for his star stayer Betathan Pebbles but she was made to work hard here after meeting trouble more than once. The daughter of Toms The Best, sent off the 1/3 favourite still came home 1 1/2 lengths clear of Chris Allsopp's Rosshill View to seal a four-timer.

The Racing Post 'Don't Bet Without It' Festival Stayers Hurdle (£1,000 to the winner). Delight for Gary Baggs as Killeen Tom holds on by a diminishing head from the fast finishing Top Personality.

Trainer's Championship set to go to the wire after Charlie Lister trained Fear Me runs out an impressive winner of the Betfred Eclipse at Nottingham from the Mark Wallis trained duo Go Commando and Ronnies Champion.

David Pruhs takes the Final of the Betfred Casino 700 at Nottingham with Nicky The Eggman. On the same card local trainer Elaine Saville takes the top graded 6-bend race with Hurling Girl who was securing her 6th win from 8 starts.

Essex Vase at Romford is under way and Heat 1 goes to the Paul Sallis trained Driving Up Rob who's wide-margin win in 35.96 was the quickest of the night. Sallis also takes the Final Heat with Jills Fault who went slower than 'Rob' but still recorded an 8 lengths success from Kings Oak in 36.36.

Moscow Flyer Book Hurdle Heats at Walthamstow. Both Druids Mickey Jo (2/5f) for Seamus Cahill and Lethal Rumble (4/9f) for Mark Wallis are safely through to Tuesday's Final in what looks a match between the pair. Grand National winner Lethal Rumble was recording his 6th win on the bounce when defeating Clane Classic in Heat 3.

Barrie Draper's runners in flying form as he follows up his recent treble with another 4 winners on Sheffield's card. Droopys Oprah, Liscahane Black, Magna Madonna and Droopys Gucci all oblige for the Rotherham based handler.

Racing Post Festival continues at Walthamstow.  David Pruhs will have a strong hand in the London Scurry after Carib Prince and Bourne Again both progress but the main danger in the Final looks to be Maxine Locke's Gottabe Magic who posted the quickest time of the 3 Semis when winning in 26.24 (-.20). Judicial Law gave Pruhs a treble when winning a messy Semi-Final in the Maiden Derby. All Finals are run on 29th November.

Abbot Pete takes the £1,000 Countrywide Steel & Tubes Goodwood Cup at Walthamstow for Mick Puzey in fine style, making all and winning by 3 3/4 lengths in a calculated 28.58 from Greenlough Power.

Racing Post Festival Maiden Derby Heats, Walthamstow. Judicial Law by far the quickest qualifier for David Pruhs in Heat 3 coming home in 29.09 for a four lengths success. Mark Wallis's Droopys Fear takes Heat 1. Mick Puzey's good run of form continues as Optimistic Henry takes Heat 6 in 29.48. Puzey also wins the A1 contest on the same card with Clonbrin Darkie.

Greenacre Lin won the St Leger at Wimbledon in tremendous fashion for a delighted Brian Clemenson who has had this race as his main target all year. The daughter of Top Honcho rounded off a great night for the Hove handler who recorded a treble on the card. Greenacre Lin broke well and never saw another dog when making all for a 3 3/4 lengths success in an impressive 41.16secs. Shelbourne Nina and the well named Champagne Moment were Clemenson's other two winners.

Grand National winner Lethal Rumble returned to Wimbledon and completed a four-timer when defeating Heavens Supreme by 3 lengths for Mark Wallis. Barrie Draper's ultra consistent Droopys Sporty holds on by the narrowest of margins to deny Shelbourne Star in the williamhillarcade.com stakes.

The Betfred Poker Eclipse is under way at Nottingham. Among Friends progresses for David Pruhs in Heat 1 after overcoming crowding to take second spot in 30.21. Barrie Draper sent out two runners, Farloe Hood (Heat 3) and Farloe Zak (Heat 4) and both qualify by taking second. Ronnies Champion also second for Mark Wallis behind quickest of the night Fear Me who recorded 29.45. Go Commando also through for Wallis after coming 3rd in Heat 6. Baulked at the 1st, Go Commando came home some 10 3/4 lengths adrift of recent Laurels winner Blonde Boss. Martin Burt's ultra-consistent Conspiracy Seb takes second in the same Heat recording a respectable 30.10.

Ballymac Niloc, out since July and winner of last year's William Hill Puppy Classic makes a welcome return to action for Carly Philpott. 'Niloc' duly lands Heat 3 in impressive fashion. Leading at half-way the son of True Honcho recorded 30.08 on his comeback.

Walthamstow are warming up nicely towards the Racing Post Festival and their Pre Festival meeting saw Mark Wallis do his Championship hopes a world of good by taking 5 races on the all-Open card. His winners were Jiving Caribbean (11/8f), Special Deal (9/4), Star Of Dromin (4/6f), Lethal Rumble (Evsf), Ronnies Flight (4/6f).  The improving Special Deal, who was sealing a hat-trick, looks a dog to follow after recording an 8 lengths success in a fastest of the night 28.92.

There were also wins on the above card for Paul Garland with newcomer Kilmalady Rumble who denied Mick Puzey's Grand Prix winner Clonbrin Show by a length. Kileen Tom landed the odds for Gary Baggs with an all-the way success in the Pre Festival Stayers Hurdle whilst Clonbrin Owl was a ready winner for Puzey when making all in the Pre Festival Mini Standard (Div I). Get On Blackie also successful for Seamus Cahill, denying the unlucky in running Siesta Frisby by a a rapidly diminishing 2 lengths.

Wimbledon put on an excellent all Open race card and Shelbourne Nina was the star attraction for Brian Clemenson. This outstanding bitch warmed up for a crack at the Oaks with the quickest time of the day when stopping the clock in 27.74 to beat Pacey Macy by 4 lengths. Clemenson  was recording a fine treble after earlier successes by Cinnamon Girl and Shebas Magic.
