Top-class Open card at Walthamstow dominated by Championship leader Mark Wallis. Fear Boo, Lethal Rumble, Allglaze Spider, Sol Late Late and Sofem all score for the Walthamstow handler. There were also wins on the card for Paul Garland (Denwood Star), Seamus Cahill (Senahel Bert & Well Presented), David Pruhs (Hes The Bizz), Paul Sallis (Driving Up) and Mick Puzey with Siesta Frisby.

Congratulations go to Paul Sallis who joins the training ranks at Coventry.

Title chasing Mark Wallis sends two through to the Coral Puppy Cup Final at Romford as Fear Assassin (Semi 1) wins and ante-post favourite Fear Rein (Semi 2) grabs second place after missing his break. Seamus Cahill takes the third Semi-Final with Droopys Clarke.

Creamery Tex, Truth Hurts, Republic Girl, Roberts Champ and Melanies Violet all win to give Paul Garland 5 winners on the day at Wimbledon's BAGS and evening meetings.

Nick Colton's Taipan is through in the Grand National (see below) and he's amongst the winners at Oxford as Killough Lady, Lightupmylife and Killeacle Nellie give him a treble.

Brian Clemenson, who won the Midland Oaks with Shelbourne Nina (see below) also sends out 4 winners at his home track Hove. Cooly Baloo takes the £1000 Track Bookmakers Standard, Shelbourne Star the October Mini Marathon, Blues Highway the October Marathon and Borna Holiday lands an A4 on the card.

William Hill Grand National news.....1st round Heats underway at Wimbledon. Druids Mickey Jo (28.19) by far the quickest qualifier when winning Heat 6 for Seamus Cahill. Lethal Rumble (28.94) wins Heat 5 for Mark Wallis, and last year's winner Four Handed through for Jim Reynolds after taking 2nd in Heat 1. Baran Shogun & Druids Gorm Blue (Ray Peacock), Taipan (Nick Colton), Cloheena Spiral (Seamus Cahill) and Kelsos Bruno (Jim Reynolds) all qualify.

Brian Clemenson trained Shelbourne Nina wins the Wafcol Midland Oaks by making all to deny the running on Fabulous Sophie. This is the second big win for the daughter of Knockeevan Star who won the Brighton Belle at Hove in August. Derby winner Westmead Hawk lands the Breeders Forum Produce Stakes on the same card.

Jonjos Special, Liscahane Black and Droopys Gucci all first past the post t give Barrie Draper a treble on Sheffield's card.

10 out of 10 at Peterborough for Fear No One as the Mark Wallis inmate claims the £2,000 Alan Speechley Fengate Collar after scooting clear at the first and avoiding all the trouble in behind.

Shelbourne Nina (fastest of the night) lands Heat 2 (first round) of the Wafcol Midland Oaks when making all for Brian Clemenson at Hall Green. Clemenson also sends out Shelbourne Poopa to win Heat 3.

Another big race win for Mark Wallis as Star Of Dromin lands the £5,000 Coral Gold Vase Final with a fine front-running performance to deny outsider Lady Aishling by 1 1/4 lengths. Shelbourne Star takes third for Brian Clemenson.

25/1 outsider Lika Pilot causes a shock when landing Heat 5 of the Produce Stakes (2nd round) at Hall Green for Pam Heasman.

Fear No One wins his opening Heat of the Fengate Collar at Peterborough for Mark Wallis. The EA and Peterborough Derby winner makes all to deny the David Pruhs trained Bourne Again by 1/2 length.

Reddmac One, Hallam Smudger, Shotgun Amy and Creamery Dancer all win to give Gary Baggs 4 winners on Walthamstow's graded card.

Delight for Mick Puzey as Clonbrin Show makes all to land the VC Bet Grand Prix by 2 3/4 lengths from Solid Money in 39.55 secs. Puzey also took the other feature race on the card, the Live Racing @vcbet.co.uk Invitation with Kindred Rebel.

Pat Curtin sends out three winners at Oxford. Blue Amy, Tasty Flight and Solid Funky all successful for the Harefield based handler.

Three winners for Brian Clemenson at Hove. Kennel also successful with Blues Highway at Walthamstow who returns to form on his first start for Clemenson when taking the vcpoker.com Marathon in good style.

Clonbrin Show quickest of the night when recording 39.61 in Heat 2 of the Semi-Finals of the Victor Chandler Grand Prix for Mick Puzey. Ronnies Flight wins his semi for Mark Wallis stopping the clock in 39.66. The Final is this Saturday at Walthamstow.

Pot Toe Pirate, Tyrconnel Earl and Might Be Magic all win at Mildenhall to give in form Philip Simmonds a treble on the card.

Dash Of Speed, Feora Field, Eightmileroad, Twincan Rambo and Chloes Luckylass give Paul Garland 5 winners on the day (BAGS and Evening) at Wimbledon.

VC Grand Prix news......last year's winner Ronnies Flight wins his Heat from kennel mate Sofem. Ronnies Flight remains unbeaten in the competition (this year and last) and spearheads a 4-timer on the card for Mark Wallis.

VC Grand Prix news......Mick Puzey claims a treble on Walthamstow's card lead by Silbury Flyer who took Heat 3 from Paul Garland's Creamery Tex. Both go through to Tuesday's Semi-Finals and are joined by Mick Puzey's Clonbrin Show (3rd in Heat 2). Ante-post favourite Junior Mechanic is out of the competition.

Acer Diamonds, Tank and Dads Fun all win at Sittingbourne to give Brian Booth a treble on the card.

Paul Garland and Seamus Cahill both send out three winners at Wimbledon.

The Victor Chandler Grand Prix is under way at Walthamstow and there were shocks aplenty with Paul Garland's Never Can Tell (one of the ante-post favourites) crashing out in the first round. Mark Wallis has a strong hand in this year's event and sent out Ronnies Flight, Star Of Dromin, Sofem and January Tiger to win their respective Heats. Mick Puzey also won two Heats with Silbury Fire and Clonbrin Show and all are through to the second round this Saturday.

Barrie Draper's Droopys Sporty, running from scratch, ran brilliantly but was denied by a head in the Final of the William Hill Northumberland Plate.
