Fear No One mightily impressive for Mark Wallis when claiming the Peterborough Derby by 2 1/4.

David Pruhs's Wellington and Judicial Triggs third and fifth respectively in above Final but he sends out 4 winners on the card.

Ballymac Rooster (Carly Philpott) and Ronnies Champion (Mark Wallis) both out of luck in slightly messy Puppy Derby Final finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively behind impressive winner Droopys Lomasi.

Wellington just holds off the strong finish of Mega Patch to win his Semi-Final in the Peterborough Derby for David Pruhs. Wellington was just one spot slower than Mark Wallis's Fear No One who got over a tricky draw and eventually won his semi comfortably by 3 3/4 in 25.82.

Gunner Black a ready winner in the Semi-Final of the Milton Keynes Summer Cup for Paul Sallis.

Four Handed leads home kennelmate Kelsos Bruno for Jim Reynolds in the williamhill.com stakes at Wimbledon.

Puppy Derby News. Ronnies Champion goes quickest in the three semis on Wimbledon's card for Mark Wallis. Ballymac Rooster through to final for Carly Philpott - the Sept 03 son of Roanokee did well to qualify after stumbling at the start.

Peterborough Derby. Fear No One and Fear Zeus through to semis for Mark Wallis. David Pruhs sends 4 through to next stage with Wellington, Bourne Again, Ballydaniel Bozz and Judicial Triggs.

Yet another three winners for Nick Colton at Oxford as hot run of form continues.

Nick Colton reports that his former top stayer, Creamery Euro whelped a litter to Larkhill Jo on 20th June. Mother and pups are doing well.

Milton Keynes Summer Cup. Courts Ad Crissy and Ronnies Flight both win their Heats for Mark Wallis whilst Gunner Black is successful for Paul Sallis in opening round.

Mark Wallis's runners continue in good form as he sends out another 4 winners on Walthamstow's graded card.

Tony Campbell Scurry Gold Cup news. Martin Burt (La Galga), Barrie Draper (Sanstone Rebel) and David Pruhs (Positive Option) will all be represented in the Final as their respective runners qualified in second place in their Heats.

The exciting Ballymac Pires wins Sussex Cup for Carly Philpott by getting up close home to deny long-time leader Wintons Scruffy. Connections take home a first prize of £10,000. Kennel also on the mark with Ballymac Kewell in The Official Chart Retirement Stakes.

Paul Garland wins The Bet 365 Puppies Final (£2,500 to the winner) on the same card with Ciaras Misty. 

Trojan Flight suffers an odds-on reverse for Jim Reynolds in the Dianne Tanner Memorial Trophy at Hove but kennelmate Four Handed easily lands an Open Hurdle at Reading.

Derby Semi-Finalist January Tiger only just wins the Ladbrokes Gold Cup Trial Stakes at Monmore for Mark Wallis. Wallis also amongst the winners at Walthamstow with a treble.

Brian Clemenson, who won the Sussex Cup with Ballybrazil Hero in 2004 sends two through to the Final this time round with Shelbourne Nina fastest of the night when winning Heat 1 in 29.68. Kennelmate Buy The Rumour (Racing Post Pricewise each-way tip at massive odds before the competition started) chased 'Nina' home in second.

Carly Philpott trained Ballymac Pires (beaten just twice in 12 starts) comfortably justifies favouritism in Heat 2 and is also through to a quality Final.

Martyn Wiley sends out 5 winners on Romford's evening card.

Champion Stakes update. Sekon Express successful for Jim Reynolds in the 2nd Semi-Final of the Champion Stakes at Romford. The 7/1 makes all and avoids all the trouble in what was ultimately a messy race. Ronnies Flight suffers luckless run for Mark Wallis in first Semi and fails to progress.

John Pearce's kennel appear to be hitting top form. Only two winners on the card but a further 4 runners come second for a kennel to follow over the coming weeks.

Hot dogs! Nick Colton's string appear well worth following over the coming days. Not only has he sent out 5 winners for the second night running at Oxford but a further 5 runners finished second on the same card!

Paul Garland's hat-trick on Wimbledon's graded card sealed by return to winner's enclosure of long term injury  victim and last year's St Leger Finalist Creamery Tex and Merton Flower lands the Paddy Power Derby Trial Stakes in fine style at Walthamstow. 

Martyn Wiley kennel appear in good order and a he seals a hat-trick on Romford's card courtesy of Ladys Tavern, Maltese Minister and Candy Kerry.

Champion Stakes - Romford, 2nd round. Sekon Express takes 2nd in Heat 1 for Jim Reynolds and goes through to next round. Ronnies Flight only third for Mark Wallis in Heat 4 but now a very strong contender for outright honours after ante-post favourite Solid Money was knocked out in Heat 3.

Also at Romford - other competition news. Jills Fault a 10 lengths winner of Heat 2 of the Champions Night Puppy Stayers for Paul Sallis. The first Heat of the Champions Night Marathon saw another wide-margin winner in Darling Slaney for Mark Wallis who came home 8 1/2 lengths to the good of the running on Howd She Go for Maxine Locke.

Peterborough Veterans Derby. David Pruhs had two runners in the second semi and although his 5/4f Judicial Triggs was well beaten, outsider of the field Solskjaer gets up on the line to win at rewarding odds of 10/1. Solskjaer was one of 5 winners on the card for Pruhs.

Nick Colton and Pat Curtin dominate Oxford's all graded card. Colton sends out a fabulous 5 winners whilst Curtin also on the mark with a treble.

The Sussex Cup is under way at Hove and Brian Clemenson's Big Freeze and Shelbourne Nina win their respective Heats. Buy The Rumour and Ballybrazil Hero also qualify for Clemenson. Carly Philpott trained Ballymac Kewell wins with equal quickest time of the night and Ballymac Pires through with an unlucky second behind Shelbourne Nina. Ardera Cross is through to second round for Maxine Locke.

First season trainer Mark Wallis wins £10,000 Gymcrack Stakes with run away winner Go Commando.

Champion Stakes News. Ronnies Flight fastest of the night in opening round for Mark Wallis when winning Heat 4 in 35.96. Sekon Express claims 3rd for Jim Reynolds in same Heat and also progresses.

Dukeries Fern and Droopys Sporty both through to Yorkshire Oaks Final for Barrie Draper.

Nick Colton claims an A1 and A2 on the way to a treble at Oxford. Taipan also a shock 14/1 winner of Hurdle Trophy at Hall Green.

Members of greyhoundtrainers.com dominate the Open card at Walthamstow winning 11 from 14. Micky Puzey with 4 winners, Mark Wallis (2), Gary Baggs (2), Paul Garland, David Pruhs and Jim Reynolds (1 apiece) all successful.
