Cup, Romford. Blissful Classic went
quickest in the opening Heats when clocking 36.31. Alrita Lilac
goes from strength to strength for
Martyn Wiley and she duly
landed Heat 1, leading at the run-in despite being forced wide.
Eye Onthe was a shock loser at 4/9 for
Mark Wallis although he
qualified in 3rd in Heat 4, 2 1/2 lengths off Blissful Classic.
Lockdale Lord took Heat 2 for Wallis in 36.61. Droopys Hotshot
was impressive (36.33) when winning Heat 5 for
Paul Young, beating
Chris Cronin's
Airtech Spur 2 3/4 lengths making all. Woo Hoo was another
qualifier for in-form Martyn
Wiley (2nd in Heat 6).
