Brighton Belle, Hove.
Brian Clemenson
landed yet another Brighton Belle when Lady Sky simply took off
at half way to win comfortably by 2 1/4 lengths from Jazz
Hurricane. Clemenson's other runner Shelbourne Poopa (7/4f) was
baulked at the first and lost all chance.

Mick Puzey,
Mark Wallis and
Seamus Cahill took
every race on Walthamstow's card bar one. Puzey sent out
hat-trick of winners, Cahill registered a four-timer and Wallis
secured a five-timer.
29th August
tote Gold Collar Final, Belle Vue. Carly Philpott is
enjoying a fabulous first season at Roxholme Grange and landed
another major prize with the outstanding Roxholme Girl who made
all to defeat Westmead Aoifa. Ideally drawn in trap 1, she soon
had her rivals at full stretch and although Westmead Aoifa
finished very strongly, the margin at the line was still 3 3/4
lengths. Roxholme Girl has now finished either first or second
on her last 24 starts.

successfully applied for the vacancy at Romford has a change of
heart and decides not to leave Wimbledon.

Mark Wallis landed his
first Category One for 2006 when Fear Robben won the Carling
Puppy Classic at Nottingham. Iceman Ross was second best,
finishing a head behind the winner who was doing his best work
late on. Pat Rosney's
Vatican Jinky was 3rd, in what was not the cleanest of races
with crowding throughout for most of the principles.
27th August
Coventry staged some minor Open
competition Finals and both
Chris Allsopp
and David Pruhs were
amongst the winners. Pruhs saw his 5/2 chance Big Son take the
Sunday Maiden Cup Final, the son of Daves Mentor scoring by a
comfortable 3 lengths. Allsopp took the £500 Bookmakers 680 Cup
Final with O Learys Snowy who defeated Craty Disco by the
narrowest of margins having 'waited' at the run-in.

Castledale Lad (H1), Lenson Supreme
(A4) and Journey North (A2) all scored at Walthamstow for
in-form Seamus Cahill
and Mark Wallis also
sent out a hat-trick of winners in the shape of Darling Slaney
(S1), Reachfar Gifted (A3) and Carden Noir (P6). The two
Trainers have now sent out 17 winners between them in two
evening meetings.

winners at Oxford as Barnwell Barley (A2), Solid Funky (S1) and
Teddy Scores (A1) all win.

hat-trick at Wimbledon courtesy of Milty (S3), Golfpot Lulu (H3)

are enjoying a fine run of form at present and Farloe Man (9/2)
landed a decent prize when showing awesome back straight pace to
comfortably take the I.F.M Insurance Final at Sheffield by 3 1/4
lengths from 5/4 favourite Gregs Celidh.

Final, Monmore. Westmead Joe helped to
fill the void left by Westmead Hawk when getting up late and
fast to defeat Clash Harmonica 1 1/4 lengths with
Carly Philpott's
Roxholme Ryan a further 1/2 length back in 3rd.

Jim Reynold's runners
were in top form at Romford. Never Say Lucky (Marathon), Holmes
Shauna (Stayers) and Borna Act (Stayers) all claiming hat-tricks
to give the Ockendon handler a hat-trick.

Seamus Cahill simply
dominated the Walthamstow Open card. Roswell Spaceman, Ronnies
Callum, January Tiger, Roswell Starship, Raging Jack and
Blackmagic Guy gave Wallis a superb 6-timer. Cahill sent out
sent out five winners of his own in the shape of Oscars Market,
Milldean Mia, Noirs Heart, Milldean Cahill and Ceroc Gypsy.

Brighton Belle, Hove.Brian Clemenson,
who won the competition with Shelbourne Nina in 2005 has Lady
Sky (30.11) and Shelbourne Poopa (30.02) in this year's Final
after they took Heats 2 and 3 respectively. Jazz Hurricane
(29.95) went quickest in Heat 1.

at Romford as Alrita Prince, Galway Stag and Alrita Lisa all
win.

The Betfair Scurry Gold
Cup Final, Perry Barr. Carly Philpott
sent out a big race 1-2 when Ballymac Rooster reversed Sem-Final
placings with Roxholme Freddie to make every yard of the running
to win in 16.08 by 2 1/4 lengths. Elsewhere on the card Jills
Fault, trained by Paul Sallis
landed yet another Hurdle Open to confirm himself one of the
best hurdles in the country today.

The Carling Puppy Classic,
Nottingham. Pat Rosney's smart
Vatican Jinky took his 6th race from 7 starts when taking the
3rd Semi in the equal quickest time of the round. Coming away in
second, the son of Hondo Black tracked the pace setting Noirs
Serena to half-way before taking up the running and staying on
strongly to score by 2 lengths.
Mark Wallis's Fear
Robben was another doing his best work late-on when taking the
second Semi in the same time as Vatican Jinky (29.84).

Elsewhere on the Puppy Classic card
(above) there was an Open race hat-trick for
David Pruhs who sent
out Ballydaniel Bozz, Against The Lead and Bregawn Jack to
score.

Ray Peacock, who sent out Rhincrew Seagal to reach the Derby
Final in 2004 is to join the Training ranks at Romford. At
Wimbledon since 1998, Peacock is looking forward to his new
challenge at the Essex track where he will lock horns with the
likes of Paul Young, Maxine Locke and Jim Reynolds amongst
others. "Im sure most of my runners will take well to running
Romford and prize money is so much better there."
