27th June 06 Reigning Derby Champion Westmead Hawk suffers serious injury and racing days are over after trial at Hall Green.
27th June 06 Gymcrack Semi-Finals, Hall Green. 1st semi. Droopys Good Boy made all in 28.41 to deny odds-on favourite Iceman Ross by 3 1/4 lengths. 2nd semi. Manic Mile was sent of favourite at odds of 1/6 but failed to even qualify after stumbling at the start. Paul Sallis's promising Westmead Syd scored by 2 lengths from Mark Wallis's Discreet Cat in 28.44. 3rd semi. Fear Haribo looks a very exciting prospect for Carly Philpott and recorded easily the fastest time of the night when clocking 28.27 in his 3 1/4 lengths defeat of Unruly.
27th June 06 The Graphite (UK) Puppy Derby, Walthamstow. Courts Ad Queen recorded the fastest time of the night (28.76) when winning Heat 2. Roswell Starship (28.99) took the opening Heat for Mark Wallis beating Mick Puzey's odds-on shot Harrys Girl by half a length. The lightly raced Spiridon Louis recorded his personal best time (29.23) to get up close home and win going away by a length in Heat 4 for Mick Puzey. Impartial View (29.09) also showed improved form for Seamus Cahill and made all to take Heat 5. (Cahill also took the last 3 races on the card to secure a four-timer). Cobra Striking (28.89) made all to secure Heat 6.

Jane Houfton's runners are in top form judged on a four-timer at Sheffield courtesy of Look Alive Pixie (HP), Royston Johnson (A3), Ireland Sophie (HP) and Early Holiday (A6). There was also a hat-trick on the card for in-form Barrie Draper.

27th June 06 Mayhem (A2), Ebony Josie (A5) and Tip The Car (A7) all won to seal a hat-trick at Oxford for Pat Curtin.
27th June 06 Well Done Gavin (S3), Quarrymount King (A6) and Landing Honcho (H3) all scored at Wimbledon to secure a treble for Jason Foster.
26th June 06 A rare visit to Mildenhall for Mark Wallis saw Special Deal land his Maiden 6-bend Open but there was a shock defeat for Star Of Dromin, who failed to lead and failed to catch pacemaker Cheltenham Blue.
25th June 06 Nigel Flowers Derby Semi-Finals, Coventry. Westmead Liz (29.29 secs in Heat 1) went just 2 spots quicker than her brother Westmead Joe in the third Semi-Final to record the fastest time of the night. Baliff Diesel (Ian Aylward), Ronnies Champion and January Tiger (Mark Wallis) are all out.
24th June 06 Bushpark Pete (A4), Happy Post (B3) and Montys Flight (A5) all win at Sittingbourne to record a hat-trick for Brian Booth.
24th June 06 Barrie Draper's runners are in flying form at present and wins for Magna Mist (A5), Delwood Alicia (A4) and Dukeries Scotty (P1) see the Rotherham handler register another treble at Sheffield.
24th June 06 Spark A Rumble (A4), Oscars Magic (A4) and Castlehill Cape (A7) all score at Romford to give Maxine Locke a het-trick on the card.
24th June 06 Seamus Cahill notched a hat-trick of winners at Walthamstow courtesy of Hollyoak Fir (S2), Sparkys Teddy (A2) and Westwood Field (A5).
23rd June 06 Mark Wallis followed his 4-timer at Walthamstow with an Open race hat-trick at Romford. Go Commando looks Champion Stakes bound after recording an impressive Maiden Open success over 6 bends. Roswell Bluesky and Ronnies Flight were also successful.
23rd June 06 Pat Curtin saw Waterdell Milli (S4), Solid Faith (A2) and Barnwell Barley (A4) all win as he recorded a hat-trick at Oxford.
22nd June 06 Chris Allsopp registers a hat-trick at Monmore as he sends out Westcourt Vieri (A4), Cathys Power (S3) and Ashanti Lark (A3) to win.
22nd June 06 Seamus Cahill (3) and Mark Wallis (4) take 7 races on Walthamstow's Thursday night all-Open race card.
21st June 06 The Skybet Gymcrack, Hall Green. Carly Philpott looks to have another smart puppy in her care in the shape of Fear Haribo who took Heat 4 in 28.48 by 3 lengths from Brother Trouble. The latter, a daughter of Droopys Vieri, trained by Brian Booth recently broke the track record for Sittingbourne and is also through to the Semis. Paul Sallis had two runners in Heat 2, Westmead Syd and Droopys McCann and both qualified for next Tuesday's Semi-Finals. Reachfar Gifted and Discreet Cat are both through for Mark Wallis. Manic Mile (28.28secs) was the fastest qualifier.
21st June 06 Channel 854 Puppy 280 Open Final, Coventry. The £300 prize went to Carly Philpott trained Roxholme Ryan who was now won 4 from 4 after defeating Martins Star by 2 1/4 lengths.
21st June 06 Channel 854 Dual Distance Cup Final, Coventry. Baliff Perry caused a shock for Ian Aylward when defeating Head Iton Jordan (started 1/8 favourite) by a neck.

19th June 06 Vatican Jinky looks potentially smart for Pat Rosney and duly justified odds-on favouritism to take the Bookmakers Puppy Cup Final at Nottingham. Although not leading til the third, the son of Hondo Black still came home 6 lengths clear of Beechwood Smugla.
19th June 06 Poor Boss (A6), Andantino (S3), Stayley Wayne (A2) and Sekon Express (A1) all oblige at Romford to give local handler Jim Reynolds a four-timer on the card.
18th June 06 Nigel Flowers Coventry Derby, Round 1. Zigzag Dutchman was quickest of the qualifiers when taking Heat 2 in 29.21. Baliff Diesel returned to form for Ian Aylward when defeating Ronnies Champion 1 1/2 lengths in 29.40 secs. January Tiger claimed Heat 6, also in 29.40 for Mark Wallis but Go Commando and Son Of Phoebe are both out. Hee Haws Barney failed to deliver on his first start for Chris Allsopp, coming home 4th in Heat 5 behind Clash Darby.
18th June 06 Urla Roy (4/1) took the Cearnsport Ltd Standard Stakes Final at Sittingbourne for Maxine Locke. The son of Judicial Preview was fast away and never saw another dog when coming home 2 lengths clear of the field.

17th June 06 Peterborough Cesarewitch Semi-Finals. David Pruhs will have no fewer than 3 Finalists after taking all 3 semis. Greenside Honcho took Heat 1, Nicky The Eggman took Heat 2 in the quickest time of the night (37.52) and Show Domingo Heat 3 on a memorable night for the Spalding based handler.
17th June 06 Dairyland Prince (S2), Treanaree Jill (S2), Tinky Rolls (A3), Curlew Red (S2) and Ross View (P6) all win to give Seamus Cahill a five-timer at Walthamstow.
17th June 06 John Pearce (3 winners on the card) and Paul Sallis dominated proceedings at Hall Green. Sallis went on to send out no fewer than 6 winners on the card. Keljo Loreal (A8), Hilola (A7), Vincho (A6), Leos Beano (A1), Yoursomethinelse (A1) and Morristown Star (A2) all scored.
17th June 06 Brian Clemenson, who is still on a high after Greenacre Lin's Cesarewitch victory, is sending out plenty of graded winners too. Shlebourne Hazel (S1), Well Nell (A2), Sprint Classic (A7) and Tropical Magic (A4) gave him a four-timer at Hove.
17th June 06 Barrie Draper followed up his 6-timer on Friday with a hat-trick of winners courtesy of Fintans Gwennie (A3), Delwood Tammi (A2) and Droopys Velvet (The Cliff Dennis Puppy Standard).

15th June 06 Ronnies Flight, Star Of Dromin, Lockdale Lady and Blackmagic Guy all took Opens at Walthamstow to register a four-timer for Mark Wallis.
15th June 06 Tims Crow, featured in our Stud Dogs section, has thrown his first Open winner in Rustic Breeze who won the Rugby Road 280m Open at Coventry on 4th June.
13th June 06 William Hill Cesarewitch Final, Oxford. The sensational Greenacre Lin, trained by Brian Clemenson took yet another major staying contest when landing a classic encounter at the age of 4 1/2. Unable to lead up Caloona Striker she found herself in third with a circuit to go but should tremendous courage to lead at the 5th and eventually win going away by 2 lengths.
13th June 06 Cesarewitch Final, rest of the card. Fear Khan for Mark Wallis got up close home to deny Carly Philpott's Ballymac Rooster. An eventful hurdle contest saw Brian Clemenson's Champion Hurdle runner-up Generous Man land the spoils and the Sussex handler took the next with Son Of Phoebe who easily landed the 6 bend contest by over 4 lengths. Ballymac Droopys gave Carly Philpott some compensation for the earlier reverse of Ballymac Rooster when denying Vaughn Prince by half a length. 
13th June 06 Princess Time, Vesuvious and Kingsmill Flyer all won at Hall Green to register a hat-trick for John Pearce.
13th June 06 Mick Puzey recorded a hat-trick thanks to Fahoura Girl (A8), Placid Jill (A6) and Finlays Charm (A4).
12th June 06 Nottingham card. Mark Wallis's Courts Ad Be took the Coors Light Beer Oaks Final with an easy 3 1/4 lengths defeat of Malbay Mel. On the same card, Pat Rosney appears to have a smart pup on his hands in the shape of Vatican Jinky who still recorded a 4 1/2 lengths success over Spoil The Party despite crowding at the first.
12th June 06 Droopys Dior recorded a smart debut success for Brian Clemenson in Heat 1 of the Tony Morris & John Humphries Vase at Crayford.

11th June 06 Nigel Flowers Derby Trials, Coventry. Mark Wallis's January Tiger went quickest when taking his trial in 29.27 and kennelmate Ronnies Champion also looked good when taking his race by 2 1/4 lengths in 29.42. Well Presented (29.41) for Seamus Cahill and Kildare Chiller (29.87) for Ian Aylward were also successful.
10th June 06 Baran Sioux (S2), Karma Rumble (A4), Unlikely Lee (A5) and Gorgeous Lad (A6) all won at Wimbledon as Ray Peacock registered a four-timer at Plough Lane.
10th June 06 Airtech Choice (E3), Pacey Macy (S1), Killkenny Zone (S3), Athlacca Biddy (S3), Barwise Tipsy (A6) and Chocky Girl (A6) all scored at Romford as Paul Young sent out no fewer than 6 winners on the card.
10th June 06 Paula Simmons was in treble form at Hall Green as Escaped Equinox (A7), Kefcar Royal (A6) and Official Leader (A3) all won.
10th June 06 Gary Baggs and Seamus Cahill sent out 6 winners between them on Walthamstow's card as they both secured hat-tricks.
08th June 06 Ladbrokes Summer Classic, Monmore. Jordans Glory ran on well to take Heat 2 for Seamus Cahill but the Westmeads, Olivia and Aoifa both went quicker when taking their respective Heats.
08th June 06 Mark Wallis took 4 Opens at Walthamstow and Coolanga Post the P6 on the card. Wallis, who also had 4 runners finish 2nd, took the opener with Roswell Spaceman (Sprint) then saw Club Jewel (Hurdle, Div II), Roswell Bluesky (Novice Stayers) and Sofem (Stayers, Div II) all go on to land the spoils.
08th June 06 Brian Clemenson's Greenacre Lin a warm order ante-post for the Cesarewitch next Tuesday 13th June.
06th June 06 The Nigel Troth Yorkshire Oaks, Sheffield. Chris Allsopp sent out Lorraines Star to win Heat 1 at odds of 10/1 in a race where hot favourite Spoofy Doo met all kinds of trouble. Russanda Tux was by far the quickest qualifier in Heat 4 (29.65 secs).
06th June 06 William Hill Cesarewitch Semi-Finals, Oxford. Heat 1. Brian Clemenson's Greenacre Lin made yet another major Final when making all to deny kennelmate Pricessmonalulu by 2 lengths in 39.61. Heat 2 saw awful trouble at the second with Count Gelignite a faller, the race eventually going to Zigzag Stewart. Daisyfield Seani qualified in third for Mark Wallis.
05th June 06 Ronnies Callum, already a profilic Open winner over hurdles for Mark Wallis, duly landed the spoils in the £1,000 Ladbrokes.com Hurdle at Walthamstow.
04th June 06 We Stand Alone landed a thrilling Cearnsport Ltd. Mini Standard Final for Chris Cronin at Sittingbourne. The son of Droopys Kewell needed to work hard to get to the lead, was headed again as they turned for home but he came again to get up on the line by the narrowest of margins and land the £500 first prize.

03rd June 06 William Hill Derby, Wimbledon (£100,000 to the winner). Reigning Champion Westmead Hawk landed a thriller to again deny Mineola Farloe to land back-to-back Derbies. Closer to the pace than is sometimes the case, he still had work to do to close down Mineola Farloe and Amarillo Slim and once in the clear, he simply took off at the run-in to get up close him by 3/4 of a length in 28.44 secs.
03rd June 06 Ridgewest Cleaning A1 Kennel Sweepstake Final, Wimbledon (£750). Skidrow Joe showed electric early pace and scooted clear for a comfortable 3 lengths success for Ray Peacock.
03rd June 06 BEMS Trophy, Wimbledon (£1,000). Ronnies Flight (Mark Wallis) and Driving Up Rob (Paul Sallis) took second and third respectively behind impressive winner Velvet Rebel.
03rd June 06 William Hill on 0800 44 40 40 Stakes, Wimbledon (£1,000). Seamus Cahill's Jordans Glory was an unlucky running on second to recent Prestige winner Westmead Olivia who landed the spoils by 1 3/4 lengths.
03rd June 06 williamhillcasino.com Stakes, Wimbledon (£1,000). Carly Philpott's Ballymac Droopys was led up by Horshoe Ping (Jim Reynolds) but was able to grab the lead approaching the 4th and stayed on well to deny Penn Lacey by 4 1/4 lengths in 27.59 (460m).
03rd June 06 williamhillpoker.com Stakes, Wimbledon (£1,000). Westmead Aoifa easily justified favouritism when beating Pat Rosney's Hesley General by 8 1/4 lengths.
03rd June 06 The William Hill Derby Plate Final, Wimbledon (£1,500). A quality renewal saw 5 of the runners go under 29 seconds and Seamus Cahill's Malbay Nikita (eliminated at the first round stage in the Derby) caused an upset when running on late to deny Brian Clemenson's Champagne Moment by 1/2 a length at odds of 14/1.
03rd June 06 The William Hill Champion Hurdle, Wimbledon (£3,000). A fascinating race, with plenty of crowding saw eventual winner Stradeen Ouzo headed turning for home, but he came again and a good jump at the last was enough to deny Brian Clemenson's Generous Man by a head.
03rd June 06 Supporting Greyhound Welfare Trophy, Wimbledon (£1,000). Seamus Cahill sealed a memorable double when his Arc winner Milldean Billy, not usually quick away, made all and held on well from Kylegrove Flight by 3/4 of a length.
03rd June 06 William Hill Dorando Marathon, Wimbledon (£1,000). Star Of Dromin did not even start favourite for Mark Wallis at a track she does not run brilliantly and eventually had to play second best to Call Girl, who ran on late to record a 1 1/2 lengths success.
03rd June 06 Paul Young (5) and Martyn Wiley (3) provided 8 of the winners on Romford's card.
02nd June 06 Jim Reynold's recorded an Open race hat-trick at home track Romford when Modus took Heat 2 of the Rick Holloway Dual Distance Birthday Stakes and was followed into the winners enclosure by Roofless in the Coral.co.uk Puppies and Let Em Spin (Heat 3 of the above competition).
02nd June 06 Paul Sallis and Paula Simmons both sent out three winners apiece at Hall Green. Sallis, who's Jills Fault is an outsider for the Champion Hurdle at Wimbledon tomorrow, took both the A1's on the card as Driving Up Zeus (A4), Driving Up West (A1) and Our Ocean (A1) all scored. Simmons sent out Kish Minerva (A2), Centre Stage (HP) and The Other Austin (also HP) to land the spoils.
01st June 06 Mark Wallis sealed a hat-trick on Walthamstow's mixed card (2 Opens, one graded) thanks to Curley (640m Open), Lockdale Lord (P4) and Fear Mykeo (475m Open).
01st June 06 Colin Harney Northern Oaks Final. Chris Cronin's Ballymac Top attempted to make all but was caught close home to eventually go down by a length in third place to eventual winner Camlin Diamond in the £3,000 contest.
01st June 06 Cathys Power (A5), Westcourt King (A4) and Platinnum Lady (A2) all win at Monmore to give Chris Allsopp a treble on the card.
