25th Apr 06 Coral Regency Final, Hove. Caloona Striker finally landed a big one when scoring in facile fashion, making all for a 3 1/2 lengths win from Call Girl. Caloona Striker's task was made easier by the withdrawal of Greenacre Lin but he could do no more than win and recorded an impressive 40.82 seconds, his best run of the competition. Blackmagic Guy (Mark Wallis) and Jordans Glory (Seamus Cahill) were never able to get competitive.
25th Apr 06 Ocean Trailers Puppy Stakes, Semi-Finals. Mick Puzey's Asia was a well backed winner of Heat 1, making all to deny Kingsmill Queen in 28.99. Seamus Cahill's Noirs Ted again looked hugely impressive when taking Heat 2 by 4 1/4 lengths in 28.80. Paul Young's Droopys Hotshot ran on for second, meaning his other runner and Derby contender Eye Onthe Veto misses out on qualification. Gottabe Rooney was unable to lead in Heat 3 as he had done in the previous round but qualified in second for Cahill behind Zigzag Torphin.
25th Apr 06 Coral Regency, rest of the card. Several quality races took place at Hove and Brian Clemenson gained some compensation for the withdrawal of Greenacre Lin when taking 3 of the supporting Opens. Champagne Moment heads to the Derby in fine form after a runaway success in the Brian Philip Trophy despite meeting trouble, whilst Son Of Phoebe and Flamboyant Hero also scored. John Gammon notched a double, the highlight being Free Air's win in the hurdle race which was followed by Sailaway Lucy's win in an A7.
25th Apr 06 Wimbledon Derby Trials. Ray Peacock has high hopes Baran Zeus will go a long way in this year's event and duly took his latest trial with a 2 lengths defeat of Wheres Yer Man in 29.10. Chris Cronin's Coolavanny Cleo was not beaten far back in 4th, his first start since January. Mark Wallis took two of the trials with Ronnies Champion winning in 29.11 and last year's Finalist January Tiger comfortably landing the spoils in a decent 28.93.
25th Apr 06 Badgerface Boy, a unique looking greyhound pictured as a pup on Elaine Saville's site wins again at Nottingham as part of a double. Lonesome Flash also won for the Scothern handler, getting up close home by a short-head. Saville reports Hurling Girl, Bitch Of The Year for Nottingham, on the way back after a trial today and marathons beckon all being well.
25th Apr 06 Brian Clemenson's Greenacre Lin withdrawn lame from Coral Regency Final.
24th Apr 06 Questhouse Ellie was the highlight of an Open race hat-trick for Mark Wallis at Henlow when breaking the track record for the 550m course. A winner in front of the SKY cameras last week she came home over 5 lengths clear of Unlikely Kate for her 4th consecutive win in 33.10 secs. Tinas Dubh and Hopes And Fears were the other winners on the card for Imperial Kennels.
24th Apr 06 Paul Young registers a hat-trick at Romford. Beaming Yarra (S1), Stock Stallion (A2) and Leannes Faith (S3) all win.
23rd Apr 06 Ian Aylward's kennel star Baliff Diesel's love affair with Nottingham continued as the son of Top Honcho recorded a trap-to-line victory in the £500 Betfred Casino Final. 7 times a winner at the track from just 10 starts, Diesel recorded his fastest time at Nottingham when stopping the clock in 29.54 for the 500m trip.
22nd Apr 06 Peterborough Puppy Derby Final. Fire Height Dan took the Peterborough Puppy Derby for Mick Puzey in 2004 and the Walthamstow handler saw his exciting Too Risky land this year's renewal with a 1 3/4 lengths defeat of Blonde Jeannie. Too Risky was winning his 8th race in 12 career starts when taking the £3,000 first prize.
22nd Apr 06 The above Puppy Derby card saw local handler David Pruhs register a hat-trick as Show Domingo took the staying Open, Bourne Again the 420m Stakes and Brown Joe justified favouritism when taking the A4.
22nd Apr 06 Martyn Wiley was in treble form at Romford as he sent out Alrita Lilac (S2), Alrita Express (A7) and Clounamon Cheeko (A7) to land the spoils.
22nd Apr 06 Mark Wallis's Courts Ad Be is in great form at present and she sealed her hat-trick with an impressive 2 lengths defeat of Toms View at Wimbledon in a decent 28.79. Wallis also sent out 3 winners at home track Walthamstow with Fear Mykeo (A1), Reachfar Gifted (P6) and Posh Honcho (A7). Fear Mykeo clocked a sensational 28.51 in his A1 when beating Feora Field more than 6 lengths.
22nd Apr 06 Brian Clemenson's kennel will be looking forward to seeing Greenacre Lin contest another Category 1 Final on Tuesday and they confirmed their string's wellbeing with a four-timer at Hove thanks to Tropical Magic, Honcho Lad, Binsted Warrior and Sunquest.
22nd Apr 06 Paula Simmons sent out 3 winners on Hall Green's card. Pandosy Mary, Severn Magpie and Severn Scorcher all successful.

21st Apr 06 Jane Houfton registers records a four-timer at Sheffield with Clash Wilde, Royston Kelly, Morgans Lulu and Pound Queen are all first past the post.

20th Apr 06 Ocean Trailers Puppy Stakes, Walthamstow. In form Seamus Cahill sent out two first round winners and will have been delighted by the performance of Noirs Ted who clocked a sensational 28.55 when coming home 5 3/4 lengths clear of 16/1 shot Lockdale Lady for Mark Wallis. Noirs Ted, who missed his break at Oxford on Tuesday, was easily the quickest of the night. Cahill struck again as Gottabe Rooney sealed his hat-trick when escaping all the trouble behind, scoring by 10 3/4 lengths in 28.93.
18th Apr 06 Greenlough Power now outright leader of Top Dog.
18th Apr 06 William Hill Pall Mall Final. Seomra Rock landed the spoils from kennelmate Greenlough Power in what was an eventful race. Vancouver Sparky headed from to the traps from trap rise but was not able to turn in front, eventually running on well to take third for Paul Garland. Camp Bugler held every chance for Barrie Draper whilst Mick Puzey's Siesta Frisby was never able to get competitive after missing his break.
18th Apr 06 The SKY TV Pall Mall card saw a runaway success for Star Of Dromin, who trounced the field 11 3/4 lengths in the Marathon. Her win gave Mark Wallis a double on the card after the earlier success of Questhouse Ellie. Seamus Cahill's star hurdler Druids Mickey Jo landed the Hurdle Open in style.
18th Apr 06 Coral Regency Semi-Finals, Hove. Caloona Striker was easily the quickest of the Semi-Finalists when beating Brian Clemenson's Greenacre Lin 9 3/4 lengths in 40.90. Seamus Cahill's Jordans Glory took the first Semi by half a length from odds-on shot Call Girl. Mark Wallis's Blackmagic Guy is through to yet another Final after taking second to Westmead Aoifa, the long odds-on shot scoring by 6 1/2 lengths in 41.05.
18th Apr 06 Peterborough Puppy Derby Semi-Finals. Blonde Jeannie was an impressive qualifier in the first Heat but Carly Philpott's Roxholme Freddie suffered a shock exit behind Cobra Striking and Droopys Bruno. Mick Puzey's Too Risky justified 5/4 favouritism to take his Semi from outside Agassi Opal.
18th Apr 06 John Simpson's runners are in tremendous heart at present and he registered a four-timer on Wimbledon's card thanks to Your Dismissed (S3), Dark Treasure (A9), Trade Lightning (A8) and Hit Single (S5).
18th Apr 06 Seamus Cahill's double at Walthamstow courtesy of Gunship, Johari Trapper and Zodiac Topaz gives the Keston handler a five-timer across three different tracks (see Hove and Oxford Pall Mall reports above).
18th Apr 06 There were 2 successes at Oxford for Champion Trainer Mark Wallis (see above) and 5 on the night as he sends out a further 3 winners at his home track. Roswell Bluesky, Cream Munkie and Windgap Woods all successful.
18th Apr 06 There were further Derby trials at Wimbledon and Champagne Moment was again successful at Plough Lane for Brian Clemenson when beating Fear Mykeo 3 3/4 lengths in 28.96. Ninja Blue went two spots quicker when taking the second Open race on the card.
17th Apr 06 Son Of Phoebe, recent winner of the Olympic at Hove for Brian Clemenson took the £5,000 Easter Cup at Perry Barr, beating Courage Boy 2 1/2 lengths.
17th Apr 06 David Pruhs was fully expected to take the £500 Carling April Sprint Final with Ballydaniel Bozz (4/9) but it was his other runner, Arrowtown Peak at 7/1 who avoided all the trouble to come home 2 1/4 lengths clear of Street Magic.
17th Apr 06 Baliff Diesel, who won the Autumn Puppy Cup at Nottingham for Ian Aylward last year returned to his favourite track to record a convincing win in his Heat of the Betfred Casino Standard. After leading early he was never going to be caught and came home 5 lengths clear of Farloe Focus in 29.95.
17th Apr 06 Elaine Saville saw her kennel star Fleetwood Storm destroy the field with a 7 1/2 lengths of Billady in the A1 at Nottingham.
15th Apr 06 Lenson Ace, a remarkably consistent dog for the Seamus Cahill kennel took the A.E Bullard Rose Bowl Final at Crayford. Justifying favouritism, the son of Judicial Pride took up the running at the second and maintained the gallop to record a 1 3/4 lengths success in 23.68.
15th Apr 06 With the William Hill Derby not far away Wimbledon are staging several Open races over the coming weeks for Derby possibles and Mark Wallis's Daisyfield Seani looked very impressive indeed when coming home 5 1/4 lengths clear of Lenson Thierry in 28.77. This was her first start since last December.
15th Apr 06 William Hill Derby trials contd. Blonde Mac was runner-up in the Derby Final last year and looks to have every chance of going a long way this time round judged on an all-the-way success from the Mark Wallis trained Special Deal. This was Blonde Mac's first run at Wimbledon since finishing second to Westmead Hawk last July.
15th Apr 06 William Hill Derby trials contd. Seamus Cahill's Lenson Treasure showed great early pace in his trial to lead to the third but Ballymac Pires (Carly Philpott) and January Tiger (Mark Wallis) were always within striking distance and it was the former who held on to land a thriller by a neck. Lenson Treasure was only a further half a length away in third.
15th Apr 06 Beaming Yarra (S1), Droopys Verona (A2), Hondo Betty (S1), Castlelyons Josh (S2), Centaur Corkette (S4) and Small Jessica (A7) all win to give Paul Young a magnificent 6-timer on Romford's card.
15th Apr 06 Mark Wallis sent out a hat-trick of winners at Walthamstow where they were holding their gala charity night in aid of retired greyhounds. Fear Janssens, Rosie Lee and Fierce Exit were all first past the post for Imperial Kennels.
