13th Apr 06 Acer Diamonds, Meenala Major, Fonic Rock and Acer Lynx all successful at Sittingbourne as Brian Booth secures a four-timer.
13th Apr 06 Easter Cup Semis, Perry Barr. Bat On and Courage Boy both sailed through to the Final with impressive performances. Bat On (28.18 secs) beat Mall Road 5 lengths in the first of the three semis, whilst Courage Boy made all in 28.23 to beat Brian Clemenson's recent Olympic winner Son Of Phoebe. Kingsmill Again recorded a trap-to-line success in his win over Mark Wallis's Fear Rien in 28.41.
13th Apr 06 As well as sending Son Of Phoebe through to another Final Brian Clemenson was also on the mark at his home track Hove with three winners courtesy of Johnny Liar (D1), Alias Anastasia (A7) and Harbob (A2).
13th Apr 06 Martin Burt registers a hat-trick at Monmore thanks to Boogy Boy, Zigzag Moss and Tearful Tiff.
12th Apr 06 Peterborough Puppy Derby. Heat 1. The opening Heat saw the quickest time of the night from Blonde Jeannie (25.41 secs) beating the David Pruhs trained Bourne Special some 7 3/4 lengths. Heat 2. Despite heading for the rails from box 4 Carly Philpott's Roxholme Freddie won in style, making all in 25.61. Heat 3. Jim Reynolds's Horseshoe Ping bounced back to winning form when denying Droopys Bruno by 1 1/2 lengths. David Pruhs's Cuil Magic ran a blinder to take third after meeting trouble. Heat 4. Steve Harrison holds Silkey Sensation in some regard and she showed real courage in a thrilling tussle with the Mick Puzey trained Too Risky to land the spoils by a neck. Both pulled a long way clear of the remainder. Heats 5. This went to Ladwell Trick in 25.98. Heat 6. Cobra striking got up close home to win going away by 1 1/4 lengths from Minimarket Jim.

11th Apr 06 Funkytown, Almost Hasty, Ellaha Jack and Osmosis Joe all land the spoils at Wimbledon to give John Simpson a four-timer.
11th Apr 06 Carly Philpott's Ballymac Charley looks to be heading to the Derby at Wimbledon with every chance after winning his 8th consecutive start with a promising 2 lengths defeat of the very useful Amarillo Slim. Recording a split time of 4.86, 'Charley' recorded 28.89 for the 480m trip.
11th Apr 06 Pall Mall Semi-Finals, Oxford. Heat 1. Greenlough Power went quickest of the night (26.73) with a 5 lengths victory over Cong Rock. Brian Clemenson's Bubbly Classic lost all chance of qualifying when crowded early. Heat 2. Mick Puzey has done a tremendous job to bring Siesta Frisby back to something like his best and a 3 lengths win over Barrie Draper's Camp Bugler means he goes into next weeks Final with every chance. Heat 3. Paul Garland's Vancouver Sparky reached his second major Final of 2006 when taking second behind runaway winner Seomra Rock. Favourite Ningbo Jack is out.

11th Apr 06 Coral Regency, Hove. This prestigious competition has lost several contenders since the entries closed last week including Roxholme Girl (see below). An unsatisfactory batch of Opening Heats got under way where Call Girl, Blackmagic Guy (Mark Wallis), Droopys Teddy (Paul Young), Jordans Glory (Seamus Cahill), Farleyhill Fifi and Sofem (Mark Wallis) all qualified by simply turning up for 3-runner affairs in Heats 3 & 4.
11th Apr 06 Coral Regency, Hove (contd). Caloona Striker set the standard when stopping the clock in 41.08 in Heat 5. Greenacre Lin's decisive victory by 10 lengths (41.30) in Heat 1 for Brian Clemenson saw her easily progress along with kennelmate Glengar Leader (16/1) who took third. Heat 2 went to Westmead Aoifa in 41.45 whilst Coulombs Joy took Heat 6 in 41.78 from Paul Young's Top Bombin.
11th Apr 06 Pat The Chef, Swift Bow and Galtee Lake give Seamus Cahill at hat-trick of winners on Walthamstow's graded card, and an across the card four-timer on the night after Jordans Glory's win in the opening round of the Regency at Hove.

09th Apr 06 Seamus Cahill, who has sent out plenty of winners at his his new track Walthamstow in recent weeks, enjoyed a successful night away from the East London venue. Well Presented, Senahel Agathe and Journey North all win at Sittingbourne to register a hat-trick for the Keston handler. Journey North, who is not 2-years-old until September, has already won 4 races from 7 starts and took the Mini Puppy Standard by 5 lengths.
08th Apr 06 Scottish Derby Final. Carly Philpott's Ballymac Niloc could only finish third in a quality renewal which saw Fear Me hold off the late surge of Westmead Hawk by half a length. Ballymac Niloc, who did not trap as well as he did in the opening rounds, suffered early crowding too, yet ran a highly respectable race in 3rd, half a length and 3 3/4 lengths adrift of the front two.
08th Apr 06 Three Trainers dominated Saturday night's Walthamstow card with Seamus Cahill, Mark Wallis and Gary Baggs all sending out 3 winners apiece.
08th Apr 06 Barrie Draper's Camp Bugler is already through the Semis of the Pall Mall and a hat-trick on Sheffield's card for the Rotherham handler confirms his string are starting to hit top form. Farloe Level, Hidden Fee and Magna Mike all win. 
08th Apr 06 Hat-trick of winners for Maxine Locke at Romford as Sycamore Kay, Bitofabuzz and Urla Roy all score for the Wickford handler.
08th Apr 06 Elaine Saville thinks the world of Fleetwood Storm and the son of Hondo Black easily took the A1 on Nottingham's card with a 2 3/4 lengths defeat of Billady.
07th Apr 06 Paul Sallis landed the biggest race of his career to-date when taking the Golden Sprint at Romford with 20/1 outsider Driving Up Henry. Sallis had warned punters not to be put off by the price and he was duly proved right as his charge took up the running at the second and had enough in reserve to hold off the fast finishing Borna Sailor for Jim Reynolds.
07th Apr 06 There were shocks aplenty in the Pall Mall at Oxford as many of the leading contenders, including Toms View, Horseshoe Ping, Mahers Boy and Fear No One all failed to qualify.

Heat 1 saw Barrie Draper's Camp Bugler make all to beat Brian Clemenson's Bubbly Classic 3/4 of a length with a further one and a quarter back to Mick Puzey's Siesta Frisby. Brian Clemenson's Shelbourne Poopa was fastest of the night when taking Heat 2 in 26.63 in trap-to-line fashion. Gary Baggs's Hurling Honcho and Paul Garland's Vancouver Sparky took 2nd and 3rd respectively. Mick Puzey's ever reliable Clonbrin Show is also through after leading at the run-in for a comfortable 2 1/4 lengths in Heat 4 in 26.98.  Mark Wallis, out of luck with Fear No One, still sent two through thanks to Roswell Spaceman in Heat 5 (winner in 26.92) and Sol Late Late (second in 27.10) in Heat 6.

07th Apr 06 Chris Allsopp's good run of form continued at Monmore as he recorded his second hat-trick in two days thanks to Borna Style, Patricks Fancy and Snewsgirl Rosie.
07th Apr 06 Jane Houfton took 3 of the first 4 races on Sheffield's card to record a treble. Monty Diamond, Royston Emma and Pound Queen all oblige.
07th Apr 06 Fully story in today's Racing Post. Ballymac Niloc came out of Tuesday's Semi-Final with a slight muscle injury but Carly Philpott's dog is responding well to treatment and is fully expected to make the Final.
07th Apr 06 Westmead Hawk a relatively unfancied 100/30 shot with Blue Square as Fear Me and Ballymac Niloc head the market for Saturday's Final of the Scottish Derby.
06th Apr 06 Strong Flow spearheaded a hat-trick for Gary Baggs at Walthamstow when claiming his 12th success at the East London track at the expense of Ronnies Callum. It was however Mark Wallis's Star Of Dromin who stole the show with another track record breaking performance over 835m. Trapping smartly, the further she travelled, the further she went clear, eventually coming home 13 lengths to the good over the running-on Bubbly Pebbles.
06th Apr 06 Brian Clemenson is already having a very good 2006 and his Son Of Phoebe done his Championship hopes no harm at all when taking the John Smith's Olympic with a trap to line success. Clocking 29.75 for the 515m, he came home 1 1/2 lengths clear of Hondo Dingle with a further length back to Semi-Final conqueror Westmead Aoifa.
06th Apr 06 Seamus Cahill recorded an across-the-card Open race four-timer as Noirs Ted, Caths Queeny and Treanaree Jill won at Walthamstow and Well Presented took his third race from 4 starts with a win at Reading.
06th Apr 06 Ballymac Rooster took the Gorton Cup at Belle Vue, making all to claim the £3,000 first prize for Carly Philpott. Showing superb early pace out wide, the recent Cheltenham Festival winner kept on well to deny Robbie De Niro by 1 1/4 lengths.
06th Apr 06 Chris Allsopp was in treble form at Monmore as his Coyote Bessie, Coolemount Hope and Borna Rolo all won.
04th Apr 06 Both Westmead Hawk and Carly Philpott's Ballymac Niloc suffered shock reversals in their respective Semi-Finals of the Scottish Derby but both are safely through to Saturday's £25,000 finale.
03rd Apr 06 In-form Mel Baker got the week of to a fine start as he dominated Monmore's card with a five-timer. Target Tizer (A4), Passion N Pace (A7), Fast Fit Classic (S7), All For Shane (A7) and Witton Stream (S4) all won for the Rugeley handler.
03rd Apr 06 Questhouse Ellie initiated an Open race double for Mark Wallis at Henlow as she took the Henlow Monkey 550 (Heat 2) in a very quick 33.45. Ronnies Flight returned to the winners enclosure for the first time since January when taking Heat 3.
03rd Apr 06 Coral Romford Stayers. The ultra-consistent Mercury Diamond for Martyn Wiley took Heat 2 with a length defeat of Newlawn Jerry in 36.21 secs. Paul Young's Honcho Away got up close home to take Heat 3 in 36.23 secs. Quickest of the night was Bossmans Bridge 35.88 in Heat 1.
03rd Apr 06 David Pruhs's Ballydaniel Bozz took his 5th Open sprint from his last 8 starts, all at Nottingham when easily beating Street Magic 2 1/2 lengths. Fleetwood Storm, a promising type for Elaine Saville continued his progress from a recent lay-off when taking second in the A1 on the same card.
03rd Apr 06 Gary Baggs, who has sent out winners galore with relentless regularity in recent months, secured another 5-timer at Walthamstow. Prince Rob, Miss Totty, Grumpy Troopa, Droopys Tommo and Fionntra Gary all win.

02nd Apr 06 Pat Rosney has some nice pups in his kennel and Townbro Crespo, a daughter of Droops Kewell took the opening Heat of the Coventry Stadium 480m Puppy Cup in 29.88, beating Lodgeview Pete 3/4 lengths. Asia took Heat 3 for Mick Puzey in 29.86.
01st Apr 06 Carly Philpott's Ballymac Niloc is now as short as 11/8 favourite after powering into the Semi-Finals of the Scottish Derby. Last year's Finalist took Heat 3 of the second round by 10 lengths in the fastest time of the night (28.96).
01st Apr 06 Mark Wallis was out of luck in the Scottish Derby but secured an Open race hat-trick at his home track Walthamstow. Star Of Dromin broke her own track record when taking the Marathon by 13 1/2 lengths in 52.62 secs. Yanks Deel and Snappy Girl also scored for Imperial Kennels.
01st Apr 06 Steve Gammon sent out a four-timer at Crayford. Larkmans Fox (A4), Call Time (A5), Knockard Cash (H3) and Bowbells Johnny (A6) were all successful for the Keston handler.

She got up on the line to deny Brian Clemenson's Son Of Phoebe who had looked set to make all. Clemenson's inmate is next best in the betting at 7/4 for the Final on Thursday.
