31st July Barnfield On Air produced a quite remarkable performance to lower the clock and slam the field by over 6 lengths in the Sussex Cup Final. Brian Clemenson's Ballymac Weeshie ran a race full of promise in fourth whilst Martin Burt's Brookyn Bridge failed to shine after missing his break.
31st July Razldazl Eddie (25.36) and Freight Train (25.46) gave David Pruhs a double in the opening round of the Peterborough Derby. Mark Wallis sent out Roswell Pheonix to win in 25.38. Mick Puzey's Too Risky loves the track and the former Peterborough Puppy Derby winner easily took Heat 5 in 25.44. 
31st July January Student took the £500 Sprint Final at Hall Green for Walthamstow handler Gary Baggs and the kennel secured a memorable double when Double Top took the £500 Stayers Final.
31st July Jason Foster was out of luck at Hove with his two runners but sent out a hat-trick of winners back at Wimbledon thanks to Well Done Julia (S3), Oscars Pride (A2) and Sri Lanka (A6).
31st July Romford Carthree, Kilgraney Agassi and Flying Fancy all won as Seamus Cahill registered a four-timer at Walthamstow.
30th July Cuil Magic was quickest of the qualifiers in the Betfred Dual Distance at Nottingham for David Pruhs. The son of Pacific Mile scored in 29.72 to take Heat three by 6 1/2 lengths from Go Marco Polo. Pruhs also sent through Jacs Top Lass who took Heat 2. Scarlet Dash and Daisyfield Jill also scored to give the Peterborough handler an Open race four-timer.
30th July Both Maxine Locke (Bonville Maddie, Cavecourt Black, Bonville Socks and Mystic Blue) and Paul Young (Aero Tutu, Millbank Shadow, Castlelyons Josh and Teds Divine) registered four-timers at Romford.
28th July It was a bad night for Chris Cronin at Swindon as both his leading fancies and hot favourites for their individual Heats, Fabregas and Satchmo were elminated from the Produce Stakes. Alan McDowell has a finalist for the second year running in the shape of Ziggys Boy who finished second in Heat 1.
28th July Droopys Mate is through to the Semi-Finals of the Puppy Derby at Wimbledon for Seamus Cahill after taking Heat 3.
28th July Gary Baggs landed a hat-trick at Walthamstow thanks to True Thomas (P8), Lucie Silvas (S3) and Happy Memories (A3). 
28th July Omar (A4), Royston Henry (A6) and Irresistable Sam (A7) all win at Sheffield to secure a treble for Jane Houfton.
28th July Miss Modesty, Black As Coal, Hillcross Silk and Greenfield Hero all win at Walthamstow to give Seamus Cahill a four-timer.
28th July Room To View (A8) and Soms Cores (A5) both win to give John Gammon a double at Hove.
27th July Katie Scarlett (A1), Banjo Vixen (A6), Fatima Lucia Two (A4) and Torduff Price (A2) all won as Elaine Saville landed a four-timer at Nottingham. Katie Scarlett is now back to her best form after a layoff and easily defied to the two grade hike to win again.
27th July Paul Young missed out in the Rose Bowl Final despite having three Finalists but he enjoyed success on the rest of the supporting card as Miss La Barca, Princess Beth and Roar Of Love all won to give the kennel an Open race hat-trick.
27th July Phil Broome is only a small set-up but connections enjoy travelling with their better dogs and were delighted to see Zigzag Rytex land Heat 1 of the Norfolk Hotel Sprint at Coventry on Wednesday. Zigzag Rytex did not lead until close home but scored by 1 3/4 lengths. The dog faces a massive task in the Final against Lunar Vacation, record breaking winner on Derby Final night at Wimbledon.
27th July David Pruhs landed a five-timer two days ago and the kennels fine run of form continued with another hat-trick at Peterborough. Blakefield Max (A3), Razldazl Brett (A4) and Home Flash (A2) all won.
27th July Quarterland Veri and Dizzy Tantrum both win at Hall Green to give John Pearce a double.
26th July Seamus Cahill's kennel are in flying form ahead of the Puppy Derby and sealed an across-the-card  7 timer. There were 5 Open winners at Walthamstow as Milldean Buster (Puppy Standard), Milldean Flash (Standard), Poacher Man (Maiden), Heavy Weather (Puppy Standard Div II) and Boy Becca (Mini Standard). Ask The Question and Droopys Boss both took Opens at Hove for the Keston handler.
26th July Ballymac Weeshie is a pup going places and duly took the first semi-final of the Sussex Cup for Brian Clemenson, beating Martin Burt's Brooklyn Bridge by a length. Barnfield On Air was quickest of the qualifiers.
26th July Heats of the Carlsberg Sprint took place on the above Hove card and Jim Reynold's Horseshoe Ping was back to winning ways in Heat 1 whilst Chris Allsopp made the long journey down from Corley pay off when send two through in the shape of Mango Tango and Kanes Blue.
25th July Razldazl Eddie, Freight Train, Cuddleme Gizz, Beanos Spike and Big Frank all win to give the in-form David Pruhs kennel a five-timer at Peterborough. Freight Train recorded a decent 25.33 in his John Smith's Peterborough Derby Trial Stakes.
25th July Thatchers Boy (S1), Never Alone (A1), Compliance Lass (A2), Prime Xcelerator (A5) and Aero Tutu (A8) all win to Paul Young a five-timer at Romford.

23rd July Produce Stakes, Swindon. Chris Cronin sent out two of the fastest winners of the 2nd round when Fabregas (29.16) and Satchmo (29.23) both won their respective Heats. Wah Hey Tom took the opening Heat for Jim Daly whilst Alan McDowell's Ziggys Boy took 3rd in Heat 6 to qualify for Saturday's Semi-Finals.
23rd July Focal Eile (A7), Stitch It (A5) and Blackvelvet Band (A9) all win to give in-form Mel Baker a hat-trick at Monmore following the Open win at Coventry by Dooneen Belle.
23rd July Daisyfield Jill and Bourne Positive both took Opens at Nottingham to give David Pruhs a double.
23rd July Paul Young sent out four winners at Romford including Droopys Giuliano who took a Heat of the Phil Isherwood Rose Bowl. His other three winners were Spooky Mouseen (A7), Swiss Rock (A4) and Alexs Pal (A5). 
21st July Cash For Kate took the £2,000 Tech Shop Marathon for Brian Clemenson at Oxford with a fantastic staying performance to be Ace Mentor some 7 3/4 lengths with Spiridon Louis a further 3/4 lengths back in third.

Martin Burt made the long journey south worthwhile when Brooklyn Bridge took Heat 1 in style. Brian Clemenson's Ballymac Weeshie got up by the narrowest of margins to take Heat 6 despite meeting trouble early.
19th July Black As Coal (Maiden), Milldean Flash (Standard Div II), Milldean Buster (Puppy), Heavy Weather (Novice Stayers) and Noirs Ted (Standard, Div I) all won to give Seamus Cahill an Open race five-timer at Walthamstow.
19th July Mitzie, Clonbrin Show and Siesta Moonlight all won to give Mick Puzey a hat-trick at Walthamstow.
19th July Omega Wink gained a desrved success when she landed the Marathon Open at Walthamstow for Sittingbourne handler Brian Booth.

17th July Cash For Kate was back to winning ways for Brian Clemenson when taking the £1,000 Roxholme Girl Invitation at Belle Vue. The Cock O' The North Final was won by 12/1 shot Charlies Dream.

17th July As well as Cash For Kate's win at Belle Vue, Brian Clemenson was in good form at Hove as his kennel landed a four-timer. Eleanors Breeze (S2), Panteras Leader (A4), Kings And Clowns (A3) and Brave Lad (A2) all won.
17th July Mark Wallis's graders are in fine fettle and wins from Lode Star (S2), Lockdale Lady (A4), Shelbourne Thesa (S1), Genesis Sister (A7), Sofem (A7) and Ants Gunner (A8) gave him a 6-timer on the card.
16th July Hurling Girl may be over 4-years-old but she is still going strong and won an Open for Elaine Saville at Nottingham over 730m. Her win gave Saville a double on the card after Ginger Abbey took an A2 contest, her second win from just four starts.
16th July Chocky Girl, Lavenders Glory, Galaxy Kid and Ballymac Thunder all won to secure a four-timer for Paul Young at Romford.
15th July The Nigel Flowers & Glen Coulton Summer Derby, Coventry. Nervous Woody was a shock eliminator in the opening Heats but otherwise, all the leading fancies are through. Alibulk Rocket (29.02) went quickest. Killer Keane (2nd in Heat 3) and Eye Onthe Flame and Centaur Decree (1st and 2nd in Heat 4) gave Mark Wallis 3 runners in round 2.

14th July Westminster Taj landed the Birchgrove Kennels Silver Collar Final for Gary Baggs at Walthamstow. The 7/2 chance made all to beat favourite Classy Star by 1/2 a length.
14th July Chris Cronin has some nice pups in his kennel at present and Fabregas went quickest in Heat 5 of the Two Year Old Produce Stakes at Swindon when recording 28.94. Fabregas was sealing a double after Satchmo had taken the preceeding race in a time just over a length slower than his kennelmate. Alan McDowell went close last year with Mista Fahremheit and saw Ziggys Boy take Heat 6. Litter sister Best Kept Secret took second for McDowell behind Fabregas to also qualify.
14th July Mark Wallis was out of luck in the Silver Collar but sent out Night Night, Snappy Girl, Fear Robben, Centaur Iris, Daisyfield Matti and January Tiger to win and land 6-timer.

10th July Headford County scored in front of the Sky cameras for Philip Simmonds when taking the Skybetvegas.com Online Casion Trophy on Hall Green's Gymcrack card. Although not smartly away, Headford County showed excellent early pace to force his way to the front and come home with 3/4 of a length to spare over Chris Allsopp's Swift Pat.
