Mark Wallis's Directors Chair looked to have an easy task on paper, and whilst he qualified he was well beaten in third, some 5 3/4 lengths adrift of Bens Court. Heat 6 was full of incident and Farloe Black was elminated in a race won by Westmead Joe. The time (29.30) was understandably slow after Westmead Joe met trouble at the start and also the first bend and he took advantage of some in front of him to progress to the next round.
