About Pam Heasman

Pam Heasman is a very well known name in the greyhound world. Currently attached to Henlow, where she has a small number of runners on the card, she now concentrates mainly on breeding. Together with her business partner Pat Quinn she currently has 10 stud dogs standing at Homeacre. You can find out more about these dogs by clicking on the link below. Pat is also Chairman of the Greyhound Breeders Forum.

Pam has previously been attached to Coventry, but her main tracks before their closure were Hackney and Wembley, where she spent ten years. Pam moved to her smaller establishment at Homeacre in 2001. The kennels are set in two acres of land with two very large paddocks. The kennels are situated within easy access to some of the best gallops in the country and Pam regularly uses the facilities of local trainers Alf Attrill and Dilys Steels.

Pam and Pat have the loyal and dedicated assistance of Matthew Webb and Jenny Harris at their kennels and they help to ensure every care and attention is given to the racers and stud dogs on a daily basis. The team are particularly proud of Bells Major, Dog of The Year at Hall Green in 2004. He was bred and reared at the kennels and has long since passed 100 starts and has won over 30 top grade and Open races for connections.

Pam only rears her own greyhounds. Nearly all of her racers were bred and reared at Homeacre, but anyone interested in using the services of any of the stud dogs in her care are welcome to call the above number to discuss the suitability of their brood.
